If you don't already have the Character Builder installed, skip to step #4

1. Uninstall your current Character Builder...
Choose Start->Programs->Wizards of the Coast->Character Builder->Uninstall Character Builder

2. Delete your current Character Builder directory...
Normally located at C:\Program Files\Wizards of the Coast\Character Builder

3. Clean up your CBLoader application data...
Download and run http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16910332/CBLoader%20Mods/CLEANUP.BAT

4. Install the Character Builder... Do NOT install to the Program Files directory.  Use a directory under My Documents or the drive root.
Download and run D&D 4E Character Builder Classic from http://personal.lightandlinedesign.com/charbuilder/Character%20Builder.exe

5. Install the Character Builder Oct 2010 offline patch...
Download and run D&D 4E Character Builder Update (Oct 2010) from http://personal.lightandlinedesign.com/charbuilder/CharbuilderOctober.exe

6. Install the current version of CBLoader (1.3.0 as of this writing)...
Download http://code.google.com/p/cbloader/downloads/list
Unzip the downloaded file into your character builder directory.

7. Install the WotC.index file...
Download the latest WotC.index at http://personal.lightandlinedesign.com/charbuilder/WotC.index
Download the personal house rules file (TerFixes.index) at http://personal.lightandlinedesign.com/charbuilder/TerFixes.index
Place the downloaded files into your \~Character Builder~\Custom\ directory
